YORK – Sandra L. (Luckenbaugh) Beaverson, 78, of York, passed away, Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at her home.  She was the wife and best friend of Frank J. Beaverson, Jr.  They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in December.

Sandy was born December 19, 1942, in York and was the daughter of the late Richard and Laura (Banos) Luckenbaugh.

Sandy graduated in 1960, from William Penn High School in York.  She worked in accounting  with Newark Paper Tube in York where she was always known for mentoring others.  Following her retirement she was an accounting manager with the family website design and hosting business, Cybervillage Networkers, Inc.   She was a member of Stillmeadow Church of the Nazarene in York.   Sandy was an Event Planner for the family and social gatherings at Spring Meadow Community.  She enjoyed parties, social and family gatherings.

In addition to her husband, Frank, Sandy is survived by her daughter, Connie Mazur and husband Ken of Maryland; her son, Mark Beaverson and wife Christina of York; and her granddaughter, Kaitlyn Mazur.  Sandy was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria Emig.

Sandy’s memorial service will begin at 11:30 AM, Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 Saturday at the funeral home.  Burial will be private.  Officiating at her service will be Reverend Albert Horst.
