Scott Edward Shuler
York Haven – Scott Edward Shuler 57, of York Haven, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, peacefully at his home. He was the loving husband to Nancy L. (Main) Shuler whom he married 33 years ago on September 24, 1988.
Scott was born Wednesday, September 23, 1964, in York and was the son of the late Harold Z. and Karen F. (Brenneman) Shuler.
He was employed as a truck driver for Leidich Enterprises. Scott was also a past firefighter, Assistant Chief, and current life member of the Susquehanna fire Company #1 of York Haven. He was a member of the Goldsboro Fireman’s Club and the Wago Club.
In addition to his wife, Nancy, he is survived by his 2 sons, Andrew S. Shuler of York Haven and Mathew Shuler and his wife Victoria of Etters; 5 grandchildren, Jonah, Jase, Kylee, Kolton and Hazel; his 3 sisters, Kim Myers and her husband Doug of York Haven, Dawn McCandless her husband Michael of Mount Wolf and Ann Kennedy and her husband John of Boise, Idaho. Scott was preceded in death by a brother, Harold “Rick” Shuler.
A memorial service for Scott will begin at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 14, 2022, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. Visitation will follow his service at the Susquehanna Fire Company in York Haven. Burial will be private. Officiating at his service will be Pastor Steve Forry and Pastor Russell Main.
