Sharon L. Fogle

YORK – Sharon L. Fogle, 72, of York, passed away, Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at York Hospital in York.  She was the wife of Michael Fogle who she married 52 years ago on January 10, 1970.

Sharon was born June 21, 1949, in York and was the daughter of the late Virginia Harper and the late Lloyd Zech. 

Her most fulfilling job was driving for the Children’s Development Center of Abbottstown.  She was a member of the Susquehanna V.F.W. Post 2493 in Mount Wolf; Shiloh American Legion Post 791, and Zion Lutheran Church in York.

In addition to her husband, Sharon is survived by her daughter, Lisa Maughlin and her husband Thomas of Seven Valleys; her sons, Harry Fogle of Yoe and Keith Fogle of Hanover; five grandchildren, Brandon, Bobby, Troy, Will and Ty, and her sister, Betty White of Delaware.    She was preceded in death by her sisters, Rebecca, Donna and Cindy and her brothers, James, Theodore, and Robert.

Her funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Zion Lutheran Church, 2215 Brandywine Lane, York, PA.   Viewing will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Tuesday at the church.  Burial will be private.  Officiating at her service will be Reverend Dr. Janyce Jorgensen. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
