YORK HAVEN - Shawn B. Yoder, 53, of York Haven, passed away, Monday, June 5, 2023, at his home in York Haven.  He was the husband to Mindy (Slusser) Yoder for 25 years.

Shawn was born July 14, 1969, in Reading, Berks County and was the son of Shirley (Bortz) Yoder of Felton, PA, and the late George Yoder.

He was employed with the PA Local #431 Carpenters Union.  He was a member of the Rocky Top Gun Club in Tioga, PA and a member of the former St. Paul Lutheran Church in York Haven.  Shawn had many talents, and he was an avid outdoorsman.

In addition to his wife, Mindy, Shawn is survived by his sisters, Georgeanne Yoder and her husband Larry of Hamburg, PA and Judy Urey and her husband Steve of Felton, PA; nephews, Jeremiah Brothers and Brady Slusser; nieces, Jessica Porter, Katie Hake, and Chloe Slusser; his great nephews, Jaxson Porter, Gavin Brothers, and Colby Brothers, and his best friend, his English Setter, Remington.   Shawn was preceded in death by his nephew, Shay Miller.

Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 580 York Road, York Haven, PA.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
