Shirley Mae Westfall
ETTERS – Shirley Mae (Hotz) Westfall, 71, of Etters, passed away, Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill.
Shirley was born July 16, 1953, in York and was the daughter of the late Mervin Wilbert Hotz, Sr. and Shirley Mae (Conley) Hotz.
She was employed as a Dispatcher for Shadd Detective Agency in York and previously as a Dietary Aide for County Meadows in York. She attended God’s Missionary Church in Camp Hill. She was a self-taught artist, a very compassionate person and thought of others and she was an avid reader.
Shirley is survived by her sister, Shelvie Jean Sims of Shermansdale, PA and her brothers, Mervin “Butch” Hotz, Jr., of York and Jeffrey L. Hotz and his wife, Linda of Dillsburg, PA, many nieces and nephews, and her extended family in Lancaster, PA and Chambersburg, PA.
Her funeral service will begin at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. Her viewing will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Her burial will begin at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Parkville Bible Chapel Church Cemetery in Etters, PA. Officiating at her service will be Reverend James E. Winter, Sr.
