Stanley K. Ebersole

MOUNT WOLF – Stanley K. Ebersole, 83, of Mount Wolf, passed away, Thursday, November 18, 2021, at his home.  He was the husband of C. Romaine (McGurk) Ebersole.

Stanley was born July 7, 1938, in York County and was the son of the late Paul and Mildred (Bixler) Ebersole.

Stanley proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.    He was employed by the New Cumberland Army Depot in New Cumberland and later by the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot in Mechanicsburg.   He was a member of the Northern Central Chapter of the Pennsylvania Railroad and the Pennsylvania Railroad Technical and Historical Society.

In addition to his Wife, Romaine, Stanley is survived by son, David Gable of Hellam; daughter, Denise Kohr of York; 2 grandchildren, Tara Wagner and her husband, Jeffrey and Carina Passalacqua; 3 great grandchildren, Allana, Aidan and Blake, and his sister, Paulette Toomey and husband Fred of Hellam.

A graveside service for Stanley will begin at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 29, 2021, at Hoover’s Cemetery in Starview.  Full military honors will be provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.    Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
