Susan E. Fix

YORK – Susan E. (Fry) Fix, 73, of York, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at her home.  She was the wife of Howard O. Fix who she married 23 years ago on October 24, 1998.

Susan was born December 9, 1948, in York and was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Bear) Fry.

She was employed by Dupont Electronics, Berg Electronics and Assurant for over 40 years. She enjoyed camping, beach trips, puzzles, painting, crocheting, Disney World vacations and spending time with her grandchildren.   She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in York.

Susan is survived by her son, Chadwick Griffin of York; her daughters, Angela Rumsey and her husband Larry of TN., and Kelly Diller and her husband Rich of VA., 3 grandchildren, Marley, Zeno and Abraham; her sisters, Sandy Gibney and her husband Jim of York and Karen Frigm and her husband John of Spring Grove and her brother, Craig Fry of York.  She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Griffin.

Services and burial for Susan will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
