Susan L. (Kline) Kasper

MANCHESTER– Susan Louise Kasper, 78, entered into rest on August 30, 2026 at Dallastown Nursing Center in Dallastown, PA.  She was the loving wife of Art G. Kasper whom she married 56 years ago on August 15, 1970.

Born January 30, 1948 in York, PA, Susan was a daughter of the late Arthur E. and Ethel Bernice (Witmer) Kline.

She graduated in 1965 from Northeastern High School and later attended Kutztown University. Susan was a teacher at Northeastern School District for 30 years before her retirement in 2006.

Susan was a member of the York White Rose Wanderers. She enjoyed walking, reading, traveling, going to the beach, and watching the Orioles and Penn State games. Her grandchildren were one of the most important things in her life, whether it was attending their concerts, games, or other events, she was there. Church was another important aspect in Susan's life, she was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Manchester.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Turner and her husband George, and Jill Aughenbaugh and her husband Brent; four grandchildren, Ethan, Gretchen, Sophie, and Austin; her brother, David Kline and his wife Jane; and her sisters, Joyce Heindel and her husband Ken, and Pat Smith; as well as her two grand puppies, Holly and Gizmo. Susan was preceded in death by her grand puppies, Evie and Potter. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services for Susan will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc.
