Thomas “Tom” Deprez
YORK, PA – Suddenly, Wednesday, February 7th, far too soon at age 63. Predeceased by his grandparents and many aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his children Steve and Victoria and their mother, Theresa Pasko, his parents, Robert F. & Marion (Myers) Deprez of Pittsford NY, brother & sister-in-law Bob & Bonnie Deprez of Avon NY, nephew & niece Louis Pilaroscia and Liz Deprez, uncle John Myers of York, uncle & aunt Marvin & Frances (Myers) Rissius of State College, PA, uncle Dave Lieberman of Canandaigua NY, numerous cousins, and many dear friends, especially Mary Stark Riggle, Christine Smith, Nathan & Lauren Rodes, John & Tina Burkett, and Joe Zugay.
Tom was born and raised in Rochester, New York. He was an Eagle Scout, and earned a degree from Bucknell University, after which he embarked on a successful career in sales, which took him to Connecticut, New Jersey, and finally back to his mother’s hometown of York. He became a Certified Financial Planner and retired from that profession. While in York, he has been very active with St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. In retirement, he enjoyed collecting and repairing clocks as a member of the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors and the Central Pennsylvania Watchmakers & Clockmakers Guild, and volunteer service. He pursued his life-long interest in flight through the Experimental Aircraft Association. He was also a Mason and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Tom's funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 19, 2024, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 2935 Kingston Road, York, PA. His visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Monday, February 19, 2024, at the church. His burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rochester, New York. Officiating at his service will be Father Kyle Sahd from St. Joseph Catholic Church in York. Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
