Tyrrell P. Stahle

YORK – Tyrrell P. Stahle, 84, of York, passed away, Sunday, April 20, 2025, at his home in York, PA.  He was the husband of Elaine Rae (Forry) (Miller) Stahle whom he married on August 4, 2002, and the late Gloria (Lingg) Stahle.

Tyrrell was born July 31, 1940, in York, PA and was the son of the late Paul W. and Hazel R. (Crone) Stahle.

He graduated in 1958 from Manchester Senior High School in Manchester, PA. He was employed for 30 years with York Chrysler and Plymouth in York, PA before retiring in 2007.  He was a member of the Northern York County Fish and Game and was a member of Quickel Lutheran Church. Tyrrell was an avid sportsman, enjoying golf, hunting, and fishing.

In addition to his wife, Tyrrell is survived by his daughter, Samantha Stahle of Dover, PA; his step-sons, David Miller and his wife Vivienne of York, PA, and Keith Miller and his wife Fabienne of Bozeman, MT; seven grandchildren, Justine Biechler and her husband Chris, Thomas Miller and his wife Margaret, Amanda Staub and her husband Brandon, Ellen Miller, Marjorie Miller, Xavier Miller and his wife Ashley and Tiffany Miller; thirteen great grandchildren, and his brother, Ralph Stahle and his wife Cathy of Tulsa, OK.  He was preceded in death by his son, Scott A. Stahle.

His funeral service will begin at 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Quickel Lutheran Church, 60 East Canal Road, York, PA.  His viewing will be from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Saturday at the church.  His burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens.  Officiating at the service will be his pastor Reverend Roy Stetler.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
