Verna P. Heidlebaugh

Mount Pleasant Mills – Verna P. (Miller) Heidlebaugh, 87, of Mount Pleasant Mills, passed away, Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at her home in Mount Pleasant Mills.  She was the wife of the late Robert F. Heidlebaugh who passed away, April 11, 2017.

Verna was born October 28, 1936, in York, PA and was the daughter of the late Stewart and Katie (Krout) Miller. 

She was a member of Hanover Street Rod Association, York Antique Car Club; Williams Grove Steam Engines Association for over 35 years; Steam A Rama; Tuckahoe Steam and Gas Association, Chambersburg Steam Association, and Car Shows at Leg Up Farm.  She was a former member of Hayshire United Church of Christ in York and Starview United Church of Christ in Mount Wolf.

Verna is survived by her sons, Steven Heidlebaugh and his wife Nanette of Dover and Rocky Heidlebaugh and his wife Diana of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; 5 grandchildren; 3 step-granddaughters, 10 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; her sister, Evelyn Forry of York, and several nieces and nephews.  Verna was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Hoover and her brother Fred Miller. 

Her services and burial will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf, PA.
