Veronica M. O’Connor

YORK – Veronica M. (Heim) O’Connor, 67, of York, passed away, Monday, February 13, 2023, at her home.  She was the wife of John A. O’Connor, III whom she married 31 years ago on June 21, 1991.

Veronica was born June 15, 1955, in Baltimore, Maryland and was the daughter of the late Robert J. Heim and Marieanne (Kemper) Shaffer.

She graduated in 1973 from Northeastern High School in Manchester, PA.

In addition to her husband, Veronica is survived by her daughter, Shiellyn Hutson of York; four grandchildren; her sister, Roseanne Heist of York, and her brothers, Robert J. Heim of Holidaysburg, PA, and Michael Heim of York.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Veronique McKensie, her stepson, John A. O’Connor, IV, and her brother, John Heim.

Her Celebration of Life service will begin at 3:00 PM Monday, February 20, 2023, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf.  Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, Monday at the funeral home.  Burial will be private.  Officiating at the service will be Reverend Chuck Sprenkle.
