Warren H. Bair
SAGINAW – Warren Henry Bair, 84, of (Saginaw) Mount Wolf, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at ProMedica in Lancaster. He was the husband of Betty (Kochenour) Bair who he married 63 years ago on March 28, 1959.
Warren was born April 30, 1938, in Wrightsville and was the son of the late John and Martha (Pfaltzgraf) Bair.
He graduated in 1956 from Eastern High School in East York and Penn State University in York. He was employed for 28 years with Met-Ed before retiring in 1994. Following his retirement, he delivered parts for NAPA. Warren served on the Playground Association in Saginaw, the Recreation Board for East Manchester Township and was active in coaching softball with the Crusaders and the Saginaw Little League Baseball. He was a member of Saginaw Community Church.
In addition to his wife, Betty, Warren is survived by his son, Warren H. Bair, II and his wife Christine of Lancaster; his daughters, Connie Snyder of Lancaster and Bonnie Bair and her companion, Brenda Ambrose of Lancaster; Five grandchildren, Jessica, Brett, Chelsea, Emily, and Carter, and Three great grandchildren, Hudson, Liam, and Mateo. He was preceded in death by his brother, John R. Bair.
His memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 7, 2022, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. Burial will be private. Officiating at the service will be his pastor, Reverend Chuck Sprenkle.
