William A. Jamison
MANCHESTER – William Arthur Jamison, 87, of Manchester, passed away, Monday, November 14, 2022, at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York. He was the husband of the late Edith (Dale) Jamison who passed away June 18, 2019. He was married to Edith for 40 years prior to her passing.
William was born October 7, 1935, in Baltimore, MD, and was the son of the late Leslie Truman Jamison Sr., and Anna May (Mellard) Jamison.
He was employed as an over the road Truck Driver for various trucking companies for 37 years before retiring. He loved camping, yard sales, Baltimore Orioles, Ravens, Alabama Football and NASCAR.
William is survived by a son; three stepchildren; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He had six brothers and sisters. William was preceded in death by a grandchild.
William’s service will begin at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 21, 2022, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens. Officiating at his service will be Reverend Philip K. Nace.
