Ziare G. Jackson

YORK – Ziare Gabriel Jackson, 30, of York, passed away, Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Wellspan York Hospital.  He was the companion of Nicole Frigm.

Ziare was born May 14, 1994, in York and was the son of Diana Jackson of York, PA. and the late James Smallwood.

He graduated in 2012 from Central Senior High School in York, and later from York Vo-Tech’s school of welding.   Ziare was a welder with various projects in the York area.  He was a member of the HTR Motorcycle Club.

In addition to his companion and mother, Ziare is survived by his two sons, Ziare Jackson and Nasir Jackson, and his brothers, Brandon Jackson, Brett Jackson, Bradley Jackson, Ryan “Josh” Jackson, Dominique Smallwood, and Manuel Smallwood, his sister, Serena Scott, niece’s, nephew’s and cousin’s and his uncles, Edward Murray and Doug Jackson, and his in-laws, Julie and Cliff Frigm.  He was preceded in death by his aunts, Linda Murray and Wanda Greene.

His funeral service was held Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.  His viewing was from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home.  Officiating at his service was Reverend Erik Swanson from New Life Presbyterian Church in York, PA.
