Delores A. Krebs

YORK – Delores A. (Doll) Krebs, 77, of York, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Gary Krebs whom she married 53 years ago on December 31, 1964.

Delores was born May 13, 1940 in York and was the daughter of the late Richard N and Helen G. (Burkhart) Doll.

She graduated from William Penn High School in York, York Junior College and Millersville University in Millersville, PA. She taught school in the Dover School District for 49 years; 2 years at Kralltown Elementary and 47 years at Weiglestown Elementary. She was a member of the Sophisticated Ladies Red Hats; PSEA Retired; York County PA School Retirees (YCPASR); life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Susquehanna V.F.W. Post 2493 in Mount Wolf; Vikings Club; Elks Club of West Shore and NEA.

In addition to her husband, Gary, Delores is survived by her brother, Marvin L. Doll and his wife Catherine from Fayettville, Franklin County and her nephew, James A. Doll. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Gregory A. Doll and Richard N. Doll, Jr.

Her memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Officiating at the service will be Reverend Mitch Galloway from Winterstown United Methodist Church.
