MOUNT WOLF – Thelma R. (Reneberger) Doll, 92, of Mount Wolf, passed away at 6:25 AM, Saturday, August 4, 2018, at the Brethren Village in Lititz, PA. She was the wife of the late Warren J. Doll who passed away December 31, 2008.
Mrs. Doll was born August 27, 1925 in Saginaw, PA and was the daughter of the late Russell and Florence (Brenner) Reneberger.
In 1943 she graduated from Manchester High School in Manchester and later graduated from Thompson Business School of York. She worked for the American Wire Fabrics in Mount Wolf, Postal Clerk in the Mount Wolf Post Office, and Cafeteria worker at the Mount Wolf Elementary School. She was a member of the Northeastern Senior Center, United Methodist Women, former member of the Susquehanna Lioness Club; Secretary of the local United Methodist Women in Saginaw and was the organist and pianist for many years at Saginaw Community United Methodist Church where she was a member.
Mrs. Doll is survived by her daughter Paula Jean Williams and her husband Derle of Mountville, PA and her son, Michael Warren Doll and his wife Betty of Richmond, VA; five grandchildren, Matthew Doll, Michelle Doll, Brian Doll, Abby Williams and Kent Williams; 2 Great grandchildren, and her brother, Eugene Reneberger of Saginaw.
Her funeral service will begin at 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf. Viewing will be from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Saginaw Cemetery in Saginaw. Officiating at the service will be her pastor The Reverend Chuck Sprenkle.
